Coach Troy Stevens heads up the NCS Track & Field program.
NCS Track & Field program is part of the LHSAA Conference (Louisiana High School Athletic
Association) District 8-2A. The program is open to Varsity (6th - 12th Grade) and Junior High
(6th - 8th Grade). All students who enjoy track and field sports are encouraged to participate.
The team first gets together after the Christmas holidays. Meets begin the last week of February
and conclude in April, followed by District and Regional Meets, State Meets (held in May).
Practices take place Monday and Wednesday at Mandeville High School, and Tuesday and Thursdays
at NCS. Meets are generally held during the week. Please refer to the team schedule for
updated information. NCS students who have a 2.0 grade point average (or better) can
try out and belong to the team.
