Practice: First offficial practice will be on Monday August 16, 2010.
On August 25 the practice times will change; you will be updated as soon as I am aware.
We will practice at Kehoe France located in River Forest Subdivision at 25 Patricia Drive.
Required 4x’s per week. (If there is conflict please talk to Coach Bill for flexibility options.)
Please ask around about carpooling or a ride to pool for practice. There will be assigned a mandatory
practice night for all NCS swimmers. This gives us an opportunity to work on relays as a team.
Swim Meets: These will primarily be held on the Northshore area. At these meets
we are required to help with timing assignments and will need some parental help in this area. When the
schedule is available will forward to each swimmer.
State High School Swim Meet: In order to participate in this meet the swimmer
must obtain a state qualifying time or be selected to swim on a relay. The meet is a two format
with prelims on the first day and finals the next. Division 4 will be on Wednesday, November 17
(preliminaries) and Thursday, November 18. Place TBA.
Fundraising: You can raise funds to offset your swimmers fees by selling
ads in the Football Program, which are due by August 21, 2010. We get to keep 40% of what we sell.
If everyone sells a few ads then we can offset most of our costs. Last year we hosted several bake sales
at break time and made quite a few dollars. If you have any other ideas for fundraising please share them.
